Electric contact pressure gauge is an instrument with elastic element as sensitive element and measurement method, whose range is higher than ambient pressure. It is widely used in almost all industrial processes and scientific research fields, and is widely used in heat pipe network, oil and gas transportation, water supply, and gas supply systems, vehicle maintenance and other industries.
In the process of industrial process control and technical measurement, thanks to the high mechanical strength and the convenient production of elastic sensitive elements of mechanical pressure gauges, mechanical pressure gauges have been widely used.
There are many types of electric contact pressure gauges, including general (ordinary) pointer indicating type, digital type, conventional type, special type, contact type, long-distance transmission type, vibration isolation type, anti-vibration type, diaphragm type, corrosion-resistant type, etc. The electric contact pressure gauge series is complete, such as conventional series and digital series, ordinary media application series, switch signal series, and remote signal series.
Considering the stability of its own support, the axial direct mounting type is usually only selected on pressure gauges with a nominal diameter of less than 150 mm. The so-called built-in and convex pressure gauges are pressure gauges with edges (installation rings). The axial mounting type refers to the axial forward edge, the radial mounting type refers to the radial forward edge, and the radial bulging type (also known as the wall type) refers to the radial backward edge. From the point of view of the measuring domain and range segment of the electric contact pressure gauge, it is divided into micro-pressure range segments in the positive pressure domain.
In general, the electric contact pressure gauge is also a general-purpose pressure gauge, but it is equipped with a special electrical device, so when it reaches the set pressure value, the system can indicate the pressure value and control the opening and closing of the electrical signal.
In order to achieve the purpose of use, it is often necessary to install corresponding contacts on the pointer and fixed pointer of the electric contact pressure gauge. During use, the upper and lower limit setting pointers of the instrument should be adjusted to the required pressure range.
In the process of pressure change, if the upper limit set value or the lower limit set value is reached, the contact on the pointer of the instrument contacts the contact set for the upper and lower limits, and the indicator light sends out an alarm signal by means of the circuit.
Or use relays and contactors according to the circuit to control the change of the measured pressure and keep it within the set range. According to the current situation, there are two main types of electric contact pressure gauges, namely direct acting and magnetic direct acting types. In general, the setting range of the instrument should be between 5% and 95% of the upper limit of measurement.
It can also be seen from the above content that in order to achieve the purpose of automatic control and signal alarm, electric contact pressure gauges are often used in conjunction with corresponding electrical devices, such as relays or frequency converters, so as to realize the automatic control and signal transmission of various gas and liquid media under the measured pressure.
