Application and structural principles of a remote pressure gauge

The Application of Remote Pressure Gauge

The remote pressure gauge is suitable for measuring the pressure of liquids, steam, gases and other media, and has no corrosion effect on steel and copper alloys.

Due to the installation of a sliding resistance transmitter in the remote transmission pressure gauge, the measured values can be transmitted to the secondary instrument for centralized detection and remote control. In addition, the pressure gauge can also indicate the pressure on site for easy inspection of field work. Intelligent pressure gauge also provides advanced features such as alerts, notifications, and automatic shut-off functions to enhance safety and prevent equipment damage. With the increasing demand for real-time monitoring and control, remote transmission pressure gauges provide a valuable tool for enhancing productivity, safety, and cost-efficiency in various industries.

The Structure Principle of Remote Pressure Gauge

The remote transmission pressure gauge is composed of a Bourdon tube pressure gauge and a sliding resistance transmitter. The mechanical part of the remote transmission pressure gauge is the same as a general Bourdon tube pressure gauge.

Since the resistance transmitter system is installed on the gear transmission mechanism, when the fan gear shaft in the gear transmission mechanism deviates, the turning arm (brush) of the resistance transmitter also deviates correspondingly.

As the brush slides on the resistance, the change in measured pressure value is converted into resistance value and transmitted to the secondary instrument to indicate the corresponding reading value. At the same time, a gauge also indicates the corresponding pressure value.

Remote transmission pressure gauges include digital remote transmission pressure gauges, electrical contact remote transmission pressure gauges, resistance remote transmission pressure gauges, differential remote transmission pressure gauges, seismic resistance remote transmission pressure gauges, and so on.

Remote transmission pressure gauges manufactured by professional pressure gauge suppliers are suitable for measuring the pressure of liquids, steam, gases and other media that do not corrode steel and copper alloys. The instrument has a sliding resistance transmitter, which can transmit the measured values to the secondary instrument far away from the measuring point for centralized detection and remote control. The instrument can also indicate the pressure on site for easy inspection of field work. The instrument is composed of a Bourdon tube pressure gauge and a sliding resistance transmitter.

The working principle of the mechanical parts of the remote transmission pressure gauge is the same as that of a general Bourdon tube pressure gauge. Since the resistance transmitter system is installed on the gear transmission mechanism, when the fan gear shaft in the gear transmission mechanism deviates, the turning arm (brush) of the resistance transmitter also deviates correspondingly. As the brush slides on the resistance, the measured pressure value is converted into resistance value and transmitted to the secondary instrument to indicate the corresponding reading value. At the same time, a gauge also indicates the corresponding pressure value.

The pressure transmitter allows the two pressures of the medium being measured to enter the high-pressure and low-pressure chambers, acting on the isolation membrane (i.e., sensitive element) on both sides, and transmitted to the measuring membrane through the isolation membrane and the filler in the element on both sides. The electrodes on the measuring membrane and the two sides of the insulating sheet form a capacitor to output a standard 4-20mA signal, which is sent to the program control system.
