When it comes to digital pressure gauge accuracy, there are not many customers who can be completely right.
Today GC Gauge will introduce the knowledge about digital pressure gauge accuracy.
For example, the range of a digital pressure gauge for measuring the pressure of a water pipe is 0~2MPa, and the digital pressure gauge accuracy level is 0.5%FS. What is the error of this digital pressure gauge? Calculated according to the full-scale error, its error is +-(2MPa*0.5%)=+-0.01MPa. In other words, for a digital pressure gauge with an accuracy of 0.5% FS from 0 to 2 MPa, its full-scale error is +-0.01 MPa.
After knowing how to calculate the full-scale error of a digital pressure gauge, let's figure out how to determine the error of a pressure value, or how much pressure should a qualified digital pressure gauge display?
Take the above 0~2MPa, digital pressure gauge accuracy grade 0.5%FS as an example, its error is +-0.01MPa at 2MPa, when the true value of the digital pressure gauge is 2MPa, then the pressure value displayed by the instrument is between 1.99-2.01MPa. If the pressure value displayed by the instrument exceeds this range, the digital pressure gauge is out of tolerance and is unqualified.
When the true value of the actual pressure of the digital pressure gauge is 1MPa, its error is still +-0.01MPa. At this time, the pressure value displayed by the instrument is between 0.99 and 1.01. If it exceeds this range, the instrument is out of tolerance. That is to say, the error of any point between 0~2MPa is +-0.01MPa, which is calculated according to the error of the full scale calculation.
Finally, after we understand the accuracy of digital pressure gauges, you may basically know how to choose the product accuracy in the process of actually selecting digital pressure gauges.
